The Monday-night meeting scheduled for 3 September is cancelled for Labor Day. The normal meeting schedule will resume the following week, 10 September. Remember that the senior members meeting will be held at NC wing headquarters.
Successful Squadron Review

Today, the NC Wing Group 2 conducted its review of the Burlington squadron. The review committee gave the squadron a rating of "successful," and no individual area received a rating of less than "successful." Congratulations to the Double Deuces for all the hard work and for passing the inspection.

Local senior member Kertis Henderson attended flight line marshaller training at the Person County airport today. The North Carolina Wing put on the training as part of its effort to increase the number of flight line marshallers in the wing.

Kertis Henderson Promoted

Kertis Henderson, as senior member of the Burlington squadron, was promoted to First Lieutenant. Lt. Henderson earned his General Radiotelephone Operator License, which earned the promotion.
Weekend Training
